It has been reported that Simon Cowell has decided to change the judging panel for the UK's version of The X Factor yet again, this time by swapping Kelly Rowland with Estelle. The 32-year-old British singer has apparently been in talks with the production team after Kelly told Simon that she wanted to focus on her music career in America this year...
A source said to The Sun: "Estelle's name is very high on his list now and serious enquiries have been made as to her availability for auditions in May." The other judges are safe, with Gary Barlow and Tulisa reportedly even getting a pay rise. It seems Estelle could do with a break from the US given her recent heartbreak.
She explained to The Baltimore Sun that her third album, ‘All Of Me’, gave her a chance to vent her troubles in love: "I'm not a crier. But I was upset. I poured my heart out, and the result was a lot more emotional. I'm just excited that I get to put out the music. I love versus music just for the sake of it. It touches people’s lives. The same way Whitney Houston is my Whitney, people say, 'You're my Estelle.' I don't take it lightly."
