Rapper and businessman Tinchy Stryder recently teamed up with Halfords to launch a new venture offering free BMX coaching sessions for youths. The project will see Halfords hold workshops and live gigs at various local skate parks across the UK…
In an interview with Digital Spy, Tinchy shared his reasons for becoming involved with Halfords, stating that he enjoys presenting new opportunities for young people: “Something like this it's all positive. Not just giving back, but being a part of supporting something positive, that's the bottom line for me."
When asked about the much anticipated follow up to his 2010 album ‘Third Strike’, Stryder mused: “It feels fresh and exciting. With the album I don't want to rush it, I've put a few singles out and the gap's getting quite big… I've got a lot of album material.”
During the interview the ‘Star in The Hood’ founder also talked about his collaborations with Pixie Lott and Dappy – voicing his opinions on the infamous ‘Tarzan 2’ video, saying: "I feel like one thing I can say about Dappy is that he's not saying anything for the sake of it,” he went on to say that the former N-Dubz star didn’t intentionally release the video to be controversial.
After a host of celebrity collaborations, Tinchy confirms that the one person he still hopes to work with is Kanye West, revealing: “When I listen to his music I feel like I'm watching a movie.”
