Singer WurlD has dropped the video for his track ‘Alive’ exclusively via The Wrap Up. The serene song rubs off on the visuals, which sees the artist walking through the wilderness, drinking out of a bottle, alongside much more trippy, sharp imagery. The video comes in the run-up to the stateside singer’s release of his ‘Evolution’ EP…

To mark the release of the video, we had a quick fire Q&A session with the singer - check that out below before watching the stunning video for 'Alive'.

The Wrap Up: To those who don't know, where are you from and what do you do?

WurlD: I was born and raised in the western part of Africa, Nigeria, but I now live in the US. I'm a singer and songwriter and I'm currently finishing up form first EP called ‘Evolution’, which will be available later this spring.

TWU: Describe the forthcoming ‘Evolution' EP in five words.

WurlD: Soothing, electrifying, soulful, unpredictable, timeless.

TWU: When do you hope to come to the UK for a live show and is there anyone you'd like to work with from the UK?

WurlD: I'm looking forward to visiting the UK sometime this summer to showcase some of my work and hopefully gain some loyal supporters out there to join me on this ride! There are so many great artists coming out of the UK right now, it seems endless. [Laughs] Right now I'm a big fan of Ellie Goulding. I would love to collaborate on some music with her in the future... only time will tell.

TWU: What motto do you live by?

 WurlD: "No boundaries."
