Winehouse Hooks Up With Mutya

The tattooed twosome have re-recorded a '60s tune with a noughties edge...

Ex- Sugababe Mutya Buena and pop queen-of-the-moment Amy Winehouse have reportedly recorded a duet.

The gals are said to have got their pipes around '60s classic 'Be My Baby', given it a street edge and re-named it 'B Boy Baby'.

A source told the Daily Star, "Amy and Mutya have a lot in common and have talked about collaborating for a while.

"As label mates it's easy to sort that out and Amy's involvement will give (Mutya's career) a real head start."

The insider added, "Because Amy's managed to make that old-fashioned sound popular again, they weren't scared to give it a real sixties feel. The video will be great."

Meanwhile, Mutya has also recorded a new tune with dance dudes Groove Armada. Called 'Song For Mutya', it's a cool electro stomp which we wouldn't bet against being a No 1 for the former 'Babe when it hits the shelves.

Check Mutya out for youself when she plays MTV's Spanking New gigs.
