My Chemical Romance Tease Reunion Three Years After Split & The Internet Can’t Cope
WE'LL CARRY ON!
My Chemical Romance have made all of our teenage dreams come true by teasing a potential comeback just three years after famously announcing their break-up.
We all flew back in time to 2006, and the release of The Black Parade, when the band deleted their break-up tweet last night (Wednesday 20th June 2016) and yes, we are sobbing ALL happy tears right now.
In place of the now deleted break-up tweet the band posted a mysterious video along with a brand new logo, this being their first post on the account since April 2015.
In the 30-second teaser posted to the band’s social media accounts they shared very little information. The clip contains a waving flag bearing a cross that symbolises resurrection… WE KNOW! THIS COULD NOT BE MORE PERFECT!
Although it's pretty mysterious, MCR fans have had A LOT to decipher. First, the date at the end of the video is one month before the 10-year-anniversary of the release of their legendary third album The Black Parade.
Not to mention the fact that throughout the video the piano instrumental to ‘Welcome To The Black Parade’ is playing. We're not sure we can cope with all of this.
Naturally the internet took the video as some indication of an MCR reunion this September, which obvisouly meant a mass digging out of old CDs and everyone donning a few more layers of black eye-liner.
We’ve missed you My Chemical Romance. Here’s hoping it IS a reunion and not just a re-release of The Black Parade. They wouldn’t do that to us, surely…
