Mystery Jets Collaborate With Noah & The Whale

GONZO ON TOUR EXCLUSIVE | The bands team up for a special version of Five Years Time

The second Gonzo On Tour gig has taken place with two of the indie-worlds top acts colliding especially for MTV Two.

Just an hour before doors opened at the Birmingham Barfly support act Noah And The Whale were forced to cancel their appearance.

As the rest of the band chatted to Zane Lowe at the venue news came through that their frontman Charlie Fink was in a London hospital with throat problems and was unable to sing.

But during their superb headline set Mystery Jets made up for the disappointment by bringing the rest of Noah And The Whale on stage to sing Five Years Time.

After hearing the news Mystery Jets had quickly learnt the song and scribbled out the words.

Singer Blane even had to bring a pretty young fan on stage to hold the lyric sheet for him Keeping the Gonzo crowd happy

Mystery Jets performance included Half In Love With Elizabeth and recent hits Young Love, Flakes and Two Doors Down.

The Gonzo bus has now careered into London for Kaiser Chiefs smallest show in years at London ULU- where they will debut tracks from their third album.

Nu-rave, prog, electro group Late Of The Pier- responsible for one of this years best albums- will support the band.
