Mz Bratthas joined forces with Wretch 32and Ms Dynamite, will be joining the Teenage Relationship Abuse debate, and speaking to our urban blog about her views on the sensitive topic.
Relationship abuse can happen to anyone, it involves more than physical violence. It can be when someone constantly puts you down, threatens you or forces you to do something you don't want to and can have long term effects on your mental and physical health.
Over the coming weeks, The Wrap Up will be focusing on how urban music and artists can play a positive role in promoting respect in relationships.
Reflecting on her own experiences, Mz Bratt has stated that Ms Dynamite's debut album, A Little Deeper, helped her through some tough times.
Bratt revealed: "I think music is wicked because everybody listens to music. It can uplift you and it can comfort you as well.
"I think being a musician and the fact that we have a voice - we can get messages out there to people, that can actually help. It's an amazing thing."
She continued: "For me, there's not a particular song but I would probably say Ms Dynamite's album, A Little Deeper, as growing up that helped me quite a lot.
"It taught me that women are equal to men in relationships and that you shouldn't sit down and take any form of abuse - you are equal to your partner."
