Nadine Coyle Quashes Cheryl Rivalry Rumours
Nadz claims there is no competition between them...
The Irish singer, who is releasing her first solo single, Insatiable, the week after her fellow Girls Aloud member's fourth track, Promise This, claims that there is 'no bitch-fight' between her and Chezza.
Nadz told the Daily Star: “All that stuff is totally made up. I don’t know where any of it comes from."
"I think it happens with girlbands because the press like to make out it’s a big bitch-fight all the time, but it’s not."
She continued: “There is no competition between us. My competition will be with whoever releases their music the same day as me.”
Meanwhile, despite not even releasing her first solo LP yet, the singer is already hoping that she can release a second album, much like her pal, Cheryl.
Coyle explained: "I write from my subconscious and there were times where I’d leave the song and go back to it and think, 'I can’t say that'. "
"Obviously you don’t want to go too far into your emotions but I’m not guarded either. I’ve got loads more songs that didn’t make it onto the album."
When asked if she plans to release the unused material on another LP, Nadine claimed: "You’re getting a bit ahead of yourself, but hopefully. Everybody has to have a job and I’m not going to work in a bar, that’d be a big career change, and anything else would be too."
"I always wanted to be a singer, a member of a band or a backing singer. I used to picture myself playing live shows.
She added: "I saw the sweeping camera motions, the big gowns, the band playing behind me. Now I’m getting to live that out it’s so exciting."
