Nathan Sykes has hinted that a collaboration with man of the moment Sam Smith could be on the cards!

During an interview with E! News, the former star of The Wantedrevealed: “Sam Smith at the Grammys was just insane.

[related]“I’ve been listening to a lot of Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran and I'm living in hope for this Adele album. So, yes, I am quite biased toward the Brits."

When asked about working with Smith, he confessed: “We've spoken about going into the studio before and I think it's quite likely going to happen over the next year.

“It'll be insane. I think it'll be such a great opportunity to create something really cool.”

Nathan is currently gearing up to the release of his debut solo album, which features a song about his split from Ariana Grande.

Speaking of the tune, the 21-year old said: “It's a very nice break-up song. I think if people are expecting me to throw shade…that's not going to happen.

“I’m not that type of person. I'd like be known to be a very kindhearted person."
