Ever since that fateful day Zayn Malik (very publicly) ended his bromance with Naughty Boy with a certain ‘fat joke’ tweet, we’ve wondered who the next #Zaughty could be.

But while Zayn seems to be living the LA loner life for now, Naughty Boy has gone and found himself a new pal to whack his Mac filters on… And it’s only bloomin’ Simon Cowell.

That’s right, the two were hanging out at the Syco summer party last week – and we genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if Simon brought along his Burn Book for Naughty to pour his feelings into. “Zayn Malik made out with a hotdog” etc.

Snapped together at the fancy shindig by none other than Tamera – remember Tamera?! Off of X Factor approximately 10,000 years ago? – she captioned the picture: “My wonderful Boss and my amazing mentor, my gratitude for these two is beyond belief! Team work makes the dream work.”

And soon enough, Naughty went ham on the Sepia filter and posted the pic again, saying: ‘Great night with great company @SimonCowell @OfficialTamera #future #syco #thepalace #nosleep :)”.

After the party, Simon decided to go on a little 3am Twitter spree to gush over all the ‘fantastic artists’ he’s lucky to work with.

He added: “Success comes often via friendship and respect. It always takes a team. You don't always recognise that”.

Could that be a reference to our new #Saughty OTP? Well, Simon IS about to lose his four best friends after a certain hiatus takes place next year, so you never know...
