Naughty Boy Opens Up About Zayn Malik Twitter Beef & How He Never Took It That Seriously
He's SO over it...
We all remember back in 2015 when Naughty Boy and Zayn Malik had a spot of Twitter beef and caused the internet to pretty much melt down.
Well, a little while has passed since it all kicked off between the two musicians, and to be honest, Naughty Boy seems well and truly over it, and actually didn’t take it all that seriously in the first place.
He’s been pretty under the radar recently working on new music, notably releasing his new single ‘Should’ve Been Me’ featuring Kyla and Popcaan. Check it out below:

With all this exciting new music on the way, we had to check in with the producer to clear up this whole Zayn Malik thing, once and for all (watch the video above for our interview with the superstar producer).
He revealed to us, speaking of the spat with Malik: “There was a point where I was to blame for the split up of the band and you just learn to keep your Twitter beef to medium rare.”
The hitmaker continued: “That was the part of last year that I don’t really think I expected. I’m not part of this whole fandoms thing.”
And to be honest, if you’re not directly involved with the Directioners, they can be a pretty daunting force. Naughty Boy opened up about how he understands that for these young people, One Direction are their life and for someone to mess with that can be a pretty big deal.
He said: “I want to be famous for my music and I never took it that seriously, the backlash of it, because I know a lot of these people are really young and this is their favourite band in the world.”
Well, there you have it! We don’t know about you but we’d like to see less Twitter beef in 2017 and it seems Naughty Boy’s approach is a pretty good one.
