'Crazed Fan' Bites Dappy's Ear At N-Dubz Gig
But he managed to carry on after receiving treatment from medics...
N-Dubz’s arena tour on 14 April when a crazed fan bit his ear.
The incident took place just before the Morning Star trio was set to take to the stage at the Doncaster Dome.
The rapper told The Mirror: "It was mental – check out the massive red mark she left on my ear.
"She leaned in for a hug, before going 'Raaaah!' and getting me in a scary headlock,” he said. “Then she just bit into my ear. It hurt so much, man! Then our security stepped in, put her in some mad lock and took her away.
Dappy admitted he was frightened but said that chaos follows the group wherever they go. “It does scare me, stuff like that, but that's what we set out to be with N-Dubz, that pandemonium.”
Medics patched up the star’s ear before he took to the stage with bandmates Tulisa and Fazer on the opening night of their Love.Live.Life tour, which is being part-funded by the trio as they didn’t want to scrimp on special effects.
"We've spent £1m of our own money on this tour,” Fazer revealed. “We don't care about profit. On a tour like this, we should be taking home £200k but instead we'll only make about nine grand each, because we spent so much."
The tour continues in Belfast tonight and comes to a close at London’s O2 Arena on 30 April.
