David Beckham Has Apparently Bagged Himself A Role In A Movie And We Can't Stop Smiling!

Thank you Guy Ritchie...

Here's a movie cameo we never saw coming! David Beckham has reportedly been cast in Guy Ritchie's new flick 'Knights Of The Roundtable: King Arthur.'

According to Film Divider, the former England captain will join the likes of Charlie Hunnam, Jude Law and Poppy Delevingne by appearing in the film.

It's currently unconfirmed what role Goldenballs will have, but the website did note: "As the film tells a King Arthur origin story, there’s going to be a version of the scene where Excalibur gets drawn from the stone. This is where Beckham factors in."

Factors in? Maybe David will give Arthur a helping hand with that sword of his? The website adds that some 'football puns' were also written into Becks' scene, which began filming this week.

A source added: "There's a little bit of a sense that Beckham's character, who fancies himself as a big player in this story, gets a little ticked off when this other fellow, this upstart, is the one who can free the sword."

The 40-year old's part in the film is all whispers at this stage, with movie website IMBD listing Beckham's character as 'Blackleg Leader' (whatever that means!) so we're assuming his cameo will be pretty brief.

All will be revealed on July 22, 2016 when the movie is due to hit cinemas.

If the rumours prove to be true, it won't be the first time David has worked with Guy - with the pals previously teaming on Beckham's 2013 H&M advert and a commercial for Haig Whiskey.
