Go Behind-The-Scenes At Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights (Warning: Screaming Imminent)
It's like every horror movie you've ever seen brought to life...
If you're a fan of horror movies, theme parks, immersive theatre experiences of just 'things that are awesome', the chances are that you've heard of Universal's legendary Halloween Horror Nights.
Now entering their 25th year of scaring people silly, the terrifying tradition finds its Halloween and Orlando theme parks transform by night. As evening falls, the streets are flooded with an array of scareactors trained in terrifying you at every opportunity, while a host of hereto unseen horror mazes are revealed, opening their doors to anyone brave enough to venture into the darkness.
We dared to visit Universal Orlando on its opening night, and braved its five 'scare zones' (parts of the park filled with people all too eager to jump out/run screaming with chainsaws at you and make you squeal like an idiot) and nine mazes (including The Walking Dead, Freddy vs Jason, Insidious, The Purge and An American Werewolf in London).
We screamed. We laughed. We screamed some more.
It was amazing.
The Frequent Fear Pass without theme park tickets costs £66 per person and includes admission to the HHN event from 6.30pm on selected dates throughout September and October. www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk / www.UniversalOrlando.co.uk
