Jurassic World Is Officially Roar-Some After Taking $511M On Its Opening Weekend
'Jurassic World', the sequel to the classic 1995 dino romp'Jurassic Park',grossed a record cash-inof $511m over the last few days, making it the first film to take over $500m at the box office on its opening weekend...
The film proved to be especially popular over in the US, where the Universal Pictures release earned the title of second-highest grossing filmon anopening weekendin the States.
The film took ina total of $204.6m there,which came close to the record holding 'Avengers Assemble'which grossed $207.4m back in 2012.
The Sci-Fi blockbuster starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard is directed by Colin Trevorrow andwas co-produced by Steven Spielberg who directed the first two films 'Jurassic Park'and 'The Lost World'.
