Listen Up Pitches: 'Pitch Perfect 3' Is Happening!

A third Pitch Perfect movie is on its way!

It's exciting but not a surprise: Pitch Perfect 2 just opened to a GINORMOUS opening weekend, beating Mad Max: Fury Road by taking $69 million and setting a record for Elizabeth Banks as the highest opening weekend for a directorial debut EVS.

The Hollywood Reporter confirms that the writer of the first two movies, Kay Cannon, is in talks for the third instalment. 

Whether Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson will return is yet to be confirmed - but we'll be seeing more Barden Bellas action from Hailee Steinfeld, who was already snapped up for the next film when she joined Pitch Perfect 2, apparently.
