Sam Smith Isn't Singing The James Bond Theme Song... But He Knows Who Might Be!

The singer says that while it would be dream to follow in Adele's footsteps, he's not the chosen one...

Sam Smith has ruled himself out of singing the theme song for new James Bond flick 'Spectre', but has hinted that a certain blonde babe may be involved.

Speaking to Capital Breakfast's Dave Berry & Lisa Snowdon, the ’Stay With Me’ star was quizzed about doing the Bond song, with Smith stating: “It's definitely not me. People seem to think I'm doing it but I have no idea what's going on.

"I'm being deadly serious! I think I would know by now!"

Sam - who recently underwent throat surgery - went on to tease that he’s heard Ellie Goulding will be following in Adele’s footsteps by recording the theme tune.

The 23-year old let slip: “I heard Ellie Goulding was going to do it, I heard loads of different things but it's definitely not me.

“I’d love to do it, it would be a dream."
