Vin Diesel Shares Touching Tribute To Paul Walker
“Pablo, I hope you are proud tonight.”
Vin Diesel has paid tribute to his late friend, Paul Walker, in the days before the release of Fast & Furious 8, the first film in the franchise to be made without the actor.
“We have a lot of great talent in this movie. But there would be no Dwayne Johnson, who we love, there would be no Jason Statham, who we love, there would be no Charlize, who we love, there would be no Scott Eastwood, who we love, there would be no Kurt Russell, who we love, if it wasn’t for the decades of work that my brother Pablo put into this franchise,” Diesel said, using his nickname for Walker.
“When you see this movie, know that this is from love.”
Diesel continued: “I just want you to know, there wasn’t a second we made this movie, not a minute … not a day that went by that we weren’t thinking about our brother, Pablo, and how to bring him into the movie and how to represent him and to make something that he will be proud of,” Diesel said.

Speaking to ET, Vin Diesel also spoke about the pain of moving forward with his life without one of his closest friends: "I'm still reeling from the loss, the idea of of continuing along without my brother Pablo and what that felt like and the complexities of that."
"If I ever had a concern or something, I would call him," Vin said. "And I don't have that call now and I don't have that person that's dreaming up the impossible with me."
