Fiddy to produce and star in Things Fall Apart

Curtis Jackson - otherwise known as 50 Cent - is to star in and produce his own movie.

Apparently 50 is to lose up to 65 pounds for his role in the up-coming film Things Fall Apart.

In the film Fiddy plays a college football player who suffers from cancer and faces a lot of tragedy in life.

Jackson just signed a huge deal for the film to be released under his production company, Cheetah Vision Films.

Things Fall Apart begins shooting in Michigan in May, after the rapper finishes his latest global tour.
