50 Cent Quits Twitter To Work On New Album

50 Cent has temporarily quit social networking site Twitter so he can focus on his new record.

Like Kanye West he’d joined the site recently and had been messaging followers (very) regularly about everything from politics to his childhood.

But the latest update from the In Da Club rapper said he was not gonna Tweet for at least, errrr, 5 days.

He wrote: “Ok ladies and [gentlemen] I'm writing my new album. I will not be on twitter again till Sept 6, This album will be a classic.”

Fiddy had even taken it upon himself to give advice to president Obama on the site, saying: “Good hoes would boost male moral and fix the recession”

We wonder how long he’ll manage to keep up his self-imposed Twitter curfew?
