American Idol star Adam Lambert is about to announce some hot news... but we can't say what it is yet!

Since finishing as runner up last year in the eighth season of American Idol, Lambert has become the first openly gay mainstream pop artist to be signed to a major label in the States, and released his debut album For Your Entertainment - which reached number three on the Billboard charts.

He courted controversy during a performance at last year's American Music Awards when he kissed his male keyboardist onstage, and is currently wowing fans on an Australian tour.

So what's he up to next? Well, we can't tell you... yet.
