Adam Lambert To Perform At GLAAD's

The singer is also nominated for an award against pal Lady GaGa...

Adam Lambert has announced he is to perform at the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards next month.

The American Idol runner-up is nominated for the Outstanding Music Artist gong but faces tough competition from Lady GaGa and The Gossip.

Lambert stated: "GLAAD has advocated for out music artists, including myself, and I am proud to be part of the 21st annual GLAAD Media Awards this year."

After his controversial American Music Awards performance last year, Adam will be keen to impress the likes of Drew Barrymore, Tom Ford and the Glee Cast who are all confirmed to attend.

In other Adam Lambert news, the For Your Entertainment singer criticised the press this week for keep asking him questions about Lady GaGa insisting he is not the male version.
