Adam Lambert Performs On American Idol

The eccentric singer makes his return to the show that made him famous...

Adam Lambert has made a victorious return to the American Idol stage to perform new single, Whataya Want From me.

The former Idol contestant, who came second to winner Kris Allen on last years show, took to the stage complete with lasers for his comeback performance.

Fan favourite Adam wore a silver suit, skinny tie and of course, his famous guy-liner as host Ryan Seacreast stated the audience were excited to have Lambert back on the Idol stage - one fan was even holding an 'Adam is King!' banner.

Once the eccentric singer had finished his show-stopping performance, Seacreast stated: "Now that's a performance…Wow!"

Lambert who has been mentoring the Idol finalists said: "I brought lasers! I wanted to do something a little different."

The For Your Entertainment star added: "We worked so hard on this show to give everybody a surprise every week. Thanks to American Idol, because it prepared me to make it in the real world."

Adam appeared to be on the verge of tears after making a successful comeback to face Simon Cowell and the rest of America's most notorious judging panel, after recently stating that he owes the show 'everything.'
