Adam Lambert 'Doesn't Hate' Kris Allen For Idol Win

The eccentric singer claims he is still pals with the American Idol winner...

Adam Lambert has revealed that he doesn't hate Kris Allen for beating him to the American Idol crown last season.

Lambert, who came second to Allen last year has insisted that there are no hard feelings between the pair despite them both being very different.

The Whataya Want From Me singer stated: “I feel like I hope people could see that, and kind of be inspired by that, It really shouldn’t frickin’ matter what your background is, what your religion is, what your sexuality is, what your colour of your skin is.

He added: “It’s like we should focus on our similarities as opposed to our differences and learn how to coexist. Kris and I were very different, but we get along great because we were both willing and wanted to and had the desire to get along.”

However, Allen has previously admitted that despite winning the show, he feels like the underdog compared to his eccentric pal Lambert.

The 24-year old said: “Some people still don’t know how I won the show…Not in an I-need-to-prove-myself way. I’m very understated. It worked out on the show, and I think it’s going to work out in my career, too."
