Behold a new batch of Alice in Wonderland pics that have been unveiled, displaying Alice in all her resplendent glory and lots of animals.

The new promotional pics for Tim Burton’s re-imagining of the classic tale show Mia Wasikowska looking deliciously elegant as Alice, clutching an equally ravishing rabbit (whose real name is unknown).

There are also new pics of Johnny Depp (aka Mad Hatter), Helena Bonham Carter (Red Queen) and Anne Hathaway (White Queen), all caked in mystical make-up and wondrous costumes, holding rabbits, pigs and mice. Nice.

Disney’s Alice in Wonderland is set to hit cinemas in early 2010. The film also stars Matt ‘Little Britain’ Lucas (as Tweedledee and Tweedledum), Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen, Crispin Glover and Alan Rickman. It is said to be almost like a sequel to the original story.
