Watch Alice In Wonderland Trailer

The trailer for Tim Burton’s adaptation of Alice In Wonderland has been released.

 

It’s the first footage anyone has seen of the Disney film- which stars Johnny Depp as the mad hatter.

 

The movie will be released in May 2010 and it features a mixture of live action and CGI effects.

 

Also starring in Alice In Wonderland are director Burton’s wife Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Little Britain’s Matt Lucas and unknown Mia Wasikowska as the title character.

 

Launching the movie at Comic Con in San Diego Burton said he has loosely adapted Lewis Carroll’s original book. He also revealed that Depp worked on his Mad Hatter costume.

 

He explained: “He's the type of actor that a lot of the character comes from the look of the outfit. It helps him really create and get into who the character is.”
