Alicia Keys has always kept her love life a secret, until now.

The Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart songstress turned heads when she hit the red carpet with hip-hop producer, Swizz Beatz.

They were seen earlier this week at the Gotham magazine’s annual gala at Capitale in New York.

Apparently Alicia and Swizz got engaged in January and they have been keeping away from rumours of an affair while Beatz was still married.

The record producer has officially confirmed that his divorce from singer Mashonda is now final and says it was the hardest thing he’s ever had to face in his life.

Swizz Beatz told The Wizards NYC: "The reason why I got my divorce is for real s--t. I didn't get busted cheating, it wasn't none of that. I had to; I got put into a situation where she was making me pick the relationship with my older son over my marriage."
