She got hitched to Swizz Beatz on the French island of Corsica...

Alicia Keys and hip-hop producer Swizz Beatz married on the French island of Corsica yesterday, 31 July.

The couple arrived on the Mediterranean island several days ago and had been spotted enjoying the sunshine together ahead of their nuptials. It was a low-key affair, with Alicia showing off her baby bump in a bikini just hours before exchanging vows. The Empire State Of Mind singer is expecting their first child in November.

High profile celebrities who travelled to the island for the ceremony included Queen Latifah and U2 frontman Bono. According to reports, Alicia wore a long white gown and headband, while Swizz Beatz (real name Kasseem Dean) wore a white tuxedo and pink shirt.

As neither are European citizens, it’s thought the couple had an official ceremony in New York earlier this week.

Alicia’s new hubby only recently finalised his divorce from his first wife, singer Mashonda Tifrere.
