Pete Doherty has moved into Amy Winehouse’s Camden home.
According to reports, the Rehab singer invited Pete to stay when he came to London to work on material with the newly-reformed Libertines. For the last couple of years, Doherty has been based in Wiltshire.
"Amy has offered Pete a place to stay while he's in London working on The Libertines' comeback," a source told the Daily Star. "She thinks a lot of him and they've been through a lot together so she wants to help him out. But pals are worried because they are bad influences on each other."
The obvious worry is that the pair will relapse – at the depths of their drugs addictions in 2008, Amy and Pete went on benders together and both ended up in hospital on more than one occasion. But the source dismissed the concerns. "Amy has really cleaned up her act and is now keeping an eye on Pete to make sure he's OK.
“She is concentrating on her music but she still feels the need to look after Pete. She’s like a bossy sister... They want to write a song together about survival, love affairs, drugs, drink.”
Wino’s on-off boyfriend Reg Traviss is said to be less than thrilled that Pete is back in Amy’s life. Can’t say we blame him...
