Arcade Fire Singer Getting Well

Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler is said to be recovering well following his recent bout of illness.

Butler recently had to undergo surgery after falling ill suddenly, resulting in the band having to cancel lots of scheduled dates.

Thankfully though, he appears to be on the mend. "I will probably start singing again this week some time to try and get ready for the shows in North America, said Butler in a post on the Arcade Fire site.

"It has been a blessing in disguise to be forced to stay at home and read, and sleep and I have even started work on some new songs."
