Ashley Cole was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly in the early hours of this morning.
The Chelsea footballer- who is married to Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole- was held by Police after reportedly swearing at them.
The defender was arrested at around 2am and released three hours later after being issued with an £80 fine.
On Cole’s weekly salary of over £80,000 he earns enough to cover that fine in 10 minutes.
Ashley apparently repeatedly swore at Police and refused to calm down after exiting Collections nightclub in South Kensington, London.
His fiery wife Cheryl Cole is unlikely to be pleased at the news. She is currently in South Africa climbing Kilimanjaro for charity Comic Relief.
