The star plays the computing mogul in a new biopic called jOBS - and posted the black-and-white image for his millions of followers on Twitter.
He accompanied it with the message: "Thank you Sundance for the support of jOBS."
The picture shows Jobs as he appeared later in his life, with 34-year-old Ashton made-up to look the spitting image of him.
The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on Sunday - and AK has received mixed reviews from critics.
The Daily Telegraph said of Kutcher: "The poverty of his skills as a serious actor is on full display."
While Indiewire claimed it was "certainly his most impressive turn in years".
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has recently expressed his unhappiness with the movie, which is released in April in the US.
