Basshunter have stayed top of the singles chart with their trance anthem Now Youre Gone with Adeles cracking Chasing Pavements getting to number 2.

Britney Spears Piece Of Me drooped to number 3 while MTV News favourite Lupe Fiasco made the top 5 with Superstar.

In the album countdown Scouting For Girls took the top-spot with their debut album pushing Amy McDonald down to 3.
