Britney Spears’ Twitter account has been hacked by mischievous tweeters.

Messages purportedly from her suggest she has become a fan of the occult. One said:

“I give myself to Lucifer every day for it to arrive as quickly as possible. Glory to Satan.”

A second read: “I hope that the new world order will arive as soon as possible! –Britney.”

The tweets have yet to be removed by Brit’s team. Spears in currently on the Australian leg of her Circus world tour.

She has caused controversy by miming through recent gigs and was forced to comment on reports.

The 3 singer said: “Some reporters have said they love it and some don't. I came to Australia for my fans.”
