Britney Spears has teamed up with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami to appear on the cover of magazine Pop.
The star’s manga inspired shots show her in a white wedding dress, wearing a backpack and baring her legs for all to see.
In the accompanying interview Britney also said she’s open to working with current pop queen Lady GaGa. She told Pop: “I'm a big fan of hers (and) anything's possible!”
Speaking about the stunning artwork Spears said: “I loved working with Takashi, I especially liked how he took high-end fashion and incorporated it with Japanese manga.”
Murakami previously teamed up with Kanye West to design the cover of his Graduation disc.
The Pop cover appears to be the first sign of Britney promoting her as yet unheard new material. The star is expected to release her latest album later this year.
As well as hitting the studio, Britney has also been filming a cameo appearance in Glee and was this week snapped on the beach in Hawaii with boyfriend Jason Trawick.
