The producer of How I Met Your Mother tells MTV News Britney wont get a full part

Britney Spears will not be offered a permanent part in sitcom How I Met Your Mother, says one of the stars the show.

They told our friends at MTV News in the US that reports claiming Brit will get a full role are false. Spears starred as a receptionist in a recent episode of the show and critics gave her performance good reviews.

 

But actor Neil Patrick Harris told us: She's not going to be a regular on our show." She's not an actress," he continued. "She played a role for a week, and did a really nice job, but the workload involved is really, really hard. I mean, it takes a strong skill set to do that every week."

Rumours also persist that Britney will take a role on the West End stage to revive her career.
