Burial- the formerly anonymous dubstep producer- has unmasked himself on his Myspace.
He has revealed that behind the Burial moniker is South Londoner Will Bevan.
His album Untrue is currently 5/1 favourite to win the Mercury Music Prize- ahead of acts like Radiohead and Estelle.
In a blog post he said: I wanted to be unknown because I just want it to be all about the tunes.
Over the last year the unknown thing become an issue so Im not into it any more.
Im a lowkey person and I just want to make some tunes.
The producer- who has been at the forefront of the Dubstep movement with acts like Kode9 and Plastician- added:
Sorry for any rubbish tunes I made in the past, ill make up for it.
What a nice fella!
