Cher Lloyd: Fame Hasn't Changed Me

Cher Lloyd has claimed that despite becoming a household name since appearing on last year's series of The X Factor, fame hasn't changed her.

During an interview with We Love Pop magazine, the Swagger Jagger singer states she's still an ordinary teenager, worrying over the way she looks and even took a holiday to Butlins earlier this year.

Lloyd told the publication: "We’re not all blessed with beauty. You have to work on it. I think I’m still finding my feet in terms of what I want to look like."

"I’m no different to what I used to be like. I still go home and still do the normal stuff I used to – I went on holiday to Butlins a few weeks ago!"

The 18-year old, who recently urged the government to do something about online bullies after she received hate mail, went on to explain that people misunderstood her, long before she stepped out on The X Factor stage.

Lloyd revealed: "I’ve always been a bit of an odd-bod! I’ve always been one of the odd children. I was the kid at school the parents blamed for their kids turning out wrong."

As for the current series of XF, Cher has reignited her feud with judge Louis Walsh, who previously called her a "monster", stating she wishes Simon Cowell had axed the Irish music mogul along with former panelists, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue.

The With Ur Love star said: "I’m really liking Kelly (Rowland) – she’s doing really well. But you’ve still got Louis. Urgh!"

She added: "Do you know what? He’s bored. Let him have his little play around. Louis, I love yer… do I ‘eck! What he doesn’t realise is we’re going to bump into each other at some party or whatever. That’s is, if he’s not at home watching Coronation Street."
