Cheryl 'Wouldn't Dare' Dress Like Gaga

Girls Aloud star doesn't like her style...

Cheryl Cole has claimed that she used to be a tomboy and doesn’t have the courage to wear daring Lady Gaga style outfits.

The Untouchable singer said: “I was a tomboy throughout my teenage years. I used to wear baggy jeans, baggy jumpers and Timberland boots. Then I discovered girly clothes and high heels.”

She added: “I don’t like to experiment with wacky outfits. I wouldn’t dare go out in the stuff Lady Gaga wears, for instance, even though it’s perceived as high fashion.”

Cheryl would know a thing or two about fashion herself after recently topping UK Glamour Magazine’s Best Dressed Woman poll whilst also being named as FHM’s sexiest woman on the planet.

It seems the Girls Aloud star also appreciates what her female fans think telling Hello Magazine: “For me there’s no bigger compliment in the world than another woman saying, 'My God, doesn’t she look gorgeous in that!’ That to me is far more of a compliment than a man saying, 'She looks sexy.”

Mrs. Cole who is currently on the raunchy Out Of Control tour with Girls Aloud has also announced this week that she is to pursue a solo career.

One thing's for sure, she won’t be following in Lady Gaga’s fashion footsteps…
