Cheryl Cole looks set to take her place on the US X Factor panel, according to reports.

Music mogul Simon Cowell, who plans to take the hit TV show stateside after the current series of American Idol has apparently assured Chezza she has a place on the show.

Talking to The Daily Star, Cowell stated: "I'd love to have Cheryl on the show. We have a great chemistry."

The X Factor judge then allegedly winked when asked if her seat on the panel is guaranteed adding: "Cheryl's a natural star. People can't help but warm to her."

The news of Cheryl’s continuing success and bid to crack America is bound to upset one certain member of Girls Aloud who is said to be ‘jealous’ of Cole’s solo career.

Sources have allegedly told heat magazine Nadine Coyle is annoyed at Cheryl’s ‘manipulation’ of the media and she thinks Cheryl is ‘milking the whole situation surrounding her at the moment.’

A friend of the Irish singer told the magazine: “Nadine tries to keep very private and believes that her success will come through her talent and not any kind of media circus which might surround someone’s private life.”

The same ‘friend’ also revealed Nadine feels she has the best voice in Girls Aloud and thinks her music will shine through compared to Cheryl who she feels was helped by the pursuit of the media.

Despite these rumours, Nadine has denied a rift with the Fight For This Love singer tweeting recently: “Def not the case. I’ve written a song I’d love for us to duet on. Stay tuned.”
