Cheryl Cole 'Fighting For Home' In Divorce Settlement

Cheryl Cole reportedly wants to keep the Surrey mansion she shared with love rat Ashley Cole.

Cheryl, who recently filed for divorce from the England defender is said to be 'desperate' to keep their marital home in the divorce settlement.

A 'friend' of the Girls Aloud star told The Mail on Sunday: "She's not looking for a new property as she is still trying to negotiate the house in the settlement - she loves it."

"It's the only thing that is holding up their divorce going through. Cheryl wants to live there but she feels she's being pushed out by Ashley who is always there with his friends."

They added: "He also organises five-aside football matches and has people around all the time which makes it very uncomfortable for Cheryl."

As Chezza prepares to fight for her home, the 3 Words singer is allegedly having a 'brilliant' time on holiday with rumoured lover, dancer Derek Hough.

The pair jetted off to Tanzania last week as friends of the new couple have claimed that Cheryl 'couldn't be happier.'

A source told celeb blogger Perez Hilton: "She's having a brilliant holiday. Cheryl is really impressed with Derek’s taste and is loving spending some time with him."

Cheryl and Hough are said to be 'enjoying lots of days out' while the Parachute hit maker is reportedly 'having the time of her life.'

While Chezza enjoys her African break, her soon-to-be-ex Ashley found himself being booed following England's dismal World Cup display against Algeria in Cape Town on Friday which saw the Three Lions held to a 0-0 draw.
