Cheryl Cole 'Bans' Girls Aloud Pals From Visiting Her

The Girls aren’t Aloud to see the sick singer…

Cheryl Cole has reportedly banned fellow Girls Aloud members Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh from visiting her while she recovers from malaria.

The ill singer is said to only want rumoured boyfriend Derek Hough and her mum, Joan Callaghan at her bedside after being admitted to hospital with the tropical disease last week.

Chezza is even said to have put her divorce from cheating hubby Ashley Cole on hold as she is too frail to carry on with proceedings at the moment.

Despite surrounding herself with friends since spitting with Ashley, a source told The Sun: "Cheryl doesn’t want people to see her as she is."

Dancing With The Stars ace Derek has barely left Cheryl's bedside since she was taken ill and reportedly blames himself for her illness after she contracted the disease on holiday with him in Tanzania.

However, the Fight For This Love singer's condition is improving after being moved to a private room at the specialist clinic with the source adding: "She was delighted to get some privacy. She is still extremely frail and drifting in and out of sleep, but she has shown great signs of improvement."

Cole's co-X Factor judge Simon Cowell revealed yesterday that he had spoken to Chezza, claiming that she was 'on the mend.'

Cowell claimed: "I had a text from her yesterday. She is on the mend and looking forward to coming back to work. She is making a good recovery."

It is thought that Cheryl will now take two months off to fully recover from the deadly disease, meaning she has been forced to pull out of X Fact boot camp and V Festival in August.
