Cheryl Cole emerged from her Surrey home yesterday for the first time since being struck with malaria earlier this month.
The Girls Aloud star was pictured visiting the Guilford branch of Starbucks in her first public outing after contracting the deadly disease on holiday in Tanzania with pal Derek Hough.
Chezza looked well on the way back to full health as she left her mansion for only 15 minutes, wearing jeans, flip flops and a baggy white jumper as she visited the coffee shop with her driver.

An onlooker told The Sun: "Her driver was at her side every step of the way. She spoke to the manager and the staff, who seemed to know her pretty well."
They continued: "She only spent a few minutes inside. While there she signed an Aids petition and put money in a Help for Heroes charity tin."
After picking up her Frappucino from the shop, Chez is then said to have phoned her pals telling then she is ready to return as a judge on the X Factor.
Cheryl's friend told The Mirror: “Cheryl has been itching to get out of the house for days. She wanted to show the world she is slowly getting better.”
“She has been going stir crazy but is under doctors’ orders not to push herself too hard, too soon. She is getting better by the day and finally felt ready and able to take her dogs, Cocoa and Buster, for a leisurely walk.
They added: “Cheryl also wanted to show the world she is not dangerously thin. She cannot go to the gym yet but she is back writing songs and material for her solo career."

“Aside from the fatigue, the main thing getting her down is boredom. She is itching to get back to work and reunite with Simon Cowell and the others on the X Factor. It’s definitely looking like she’ll be there for the judges’ houses stage. For Cheryl, this cannot come soon enough.”
The Fight For This Love singer and other absent judge Dannii Minogue look set to return to the show for the judges houses phase, with reports claiming that they will both pick from eight hopefuls instead of the usual six.
It is thought the change in the competition is so the pair can 'chose from a wider range of talent' after missing the auditions and boot camp rounds.
