Cheryl Cole is planning to meet Derek Hough's parents for the first time later this month, it has been claimed.

According to The Mirror, Cole's mother Joan Callaghan will join her daughter in meeting the Dancing With The Stars’ parents in Los Angeles.

A source said: 'Derek is winding up Cheryl, saying his stepdad is just like Robert De Niro's character Jack in Meet The Fockers!'

'The plan is for all the parents to go for dinner, somewhere low-key and non-intimidating.'
