Cheryl Cole Cancels Help The Heroes Charity Gig

As Ashley jokes about her new beau Derek Hough with pals...

Cheryl Cole has been forced to cancel a charity gig for Help The Heroes under doctors orders.

The Girls Aloud star, who is currently in LA with suspected boyfriend Derek Hough is under strict instructions not to perform for at least three months as she continues her recovery from malaria.

According to The Sun, Chezza 'reluctantly' said no to singing at the event after being forced to cancel judging at the X Factor Boot Camp and her headline stint at V Festival as a result of contracting the deadly disease.

Despite Cheryl's absence from the gig, the likes of Plan B, The Saturdays and Robbie Williams are all scheduled to perform at the concert on 12th September.

As Cheryl continues to enjoy her time in Los Angeles with Dancing With The Stars ace Derek, her estranged hubby Ashley Cole is said to be making jokes about their relationship back in the UK.

The Chelsea footballer has reportedly nicknamed Hough 'Del Boy' after David Jason's Only Fools And Horses character and is not happy that Derek is the new man in the singer's life.

A pal of Ashley's told The Mirror: "Ashley and the lads came up with the name after seeing how cosy Derek is getting - making himself at home with Cheryl."

The source added: 'They call him Del Boy after the wheeler dealer because of how quickly he moved in with Cheryl. Whenever Derek's name comes up in a conversation, Ash is not impressed."

It seems Ash better get used to Cheryl being with Hough as reports suggest that she is set to finalise her divorce from him within days.
