Cheryl Cole Losing Geordie Accent?

Reports claim Chezza has picked up American words & phrases in LA...

Cheryl Cole may be one of the UK's most famous Geordies, but reports have suggested that Chezza has developed an American twang to her accent since being in LA.

The X Factor judge who jetted out to the US with rumoured boyfriend Derek Hough last month after contracting malaria, is said to have started using American words and phrases.

A source told The Sun: "Cheryl has developed a slight American accent whilst she's been there but it's still a long way off sounding like she's not from Newcastle."

They added: "Derek has been mocking her about a few phrases and he also does a good impression of her voice now."

The newspaper claims the Girls Aloud star is determined not to lose her Geordie accent so that she doesn't sound like UK export Joss Stone, who famously lost her Cornish twang in favour of a more Stateside sound.

Meanwhile, Cheryl's suspected beau Derek has been blasted by a Playboy model who claims that despite rumours about his sexuality, Hough is a womaniser.

Melissa Arnold has issued a warning to Chez, stating that the Dancing With The Stars ace may tell girls he is faithful, but he normally has more than one girl on the go.

Arnold revealed to Now magazine: "He has the most insane body from dancing. It's incredible - and from what I'm told, he knows how to use it. The guy's got stamina!"

She continued: "I once saw him at LA nightclub Coco de Ville and he was kissing one girl when he first got there and then at 2am he left with another one. Total womaniser."
