Cheryl Cole's performance on last night's The X Factor has been blasted after reports that the judge mimed parts of the song, despite vowing to sing live.
The Girls Aloud star, who swapped her seat on the panel for the stage, is said to have sang live in the middle of her new single, Promise This, but lip-synched the rest of the track.

Chezza also allegedly pre-recorded her performance before Sunday's result show and apparently only sang a few lines of the song live at the end.
The 27-year old, who wore an ivory blazer, black hotpants, stripy tights and not much else for her performance, previously stated to The Mirror's 3am on Saturday that: "I AM singing live tomorrow night - 100%."
However, the gorgeous Geordie broke her pledge, with an X Factor source telling The Mirror: "Cheryl performed live for the majority of the song, but during some of the dance moves a backing track was used."

A source close to Cheryl added: "The whole point was so she could dance during the chorus. It's what a lot of artists do."
A show insider also jumped to Chezza defence, telling The Sun: "Cheryl’s routine was very energetic. It wasn’t possible to sing it all."
An ITV spokesman has since denied reports that the Parachute singer mimed, telling the Daily Mail that she DID sing the lyrics live.

Despite these claims, US celebrity blogger Perez Hilton also slammed Cole's performance on Twitter, claiming that he felt that it 'didn't quite work.'
Perez tweeted: "Chezza's performance left much to be desired, but it wasn't for her lack of trying. We appreciate the mostly live singing and that she went for it with the staging."
He added: "She needs to fire her choreographer ASAP! The movement - hers and the dancers - was just not as good as it could have been or should have been! And while she's at it, she should get a new stylist too!"
Cheryl also came under fire for her performance on last years XF, when she mimed parts of her number 1 single, Fight For This Love, enraging her fans that she never sang live.
