Cheryl Cole has reportedly told her new beau Derek Hough to "back off" after apparently feeling claustrophobic in the relationship.
The X Factor judge, who was caught cavorting with Derek on holiday in Cape Town earlier this year, now apparently wants to "cool things" with the Dancing With The Stars ace.

Following reports that her mother, Joan Callaghan, warned Chezza that her relationship with Hough was "moving too quickly", Cole is said to have told friends that she isn't ready to settle down with Derek so soon after divorcing Ashley Cole.
A source told Star magazine: "Cheryl really enjoyed their holiday, but she felt differently when they went their separate ways and returned to their homes in London and LA.
“She’s worried their relationship may affect her career in the States. She’s trying to market herself as a strong, single woman, and doesn’t want to be known as someone’s girlfriend.”

They added: “He (Derek) thinks he has to tie her down now, as once she’s made it in America – which is more than likely – he’ll be a distant memory. He’s pulling out all the stops so they stay together. But it’s driving her away.”
The Girls Aloud star is already said to have refused to live with Derek when she moves to America, with reports suggesting she is looking for her own US home near XF boss, Simon Cowell.
