Cheryl Cole 'Bans Booze' At Girls Aloud Pre-Xmas Dinner

Chezza's calling the shots & there will be no alcohol aloud at the feast...

It may be the season to be jolly, but Cheryl Cole has apparently banned booze at a pre-Christmas lunch for her Girls Aloud bandmates.

According to The Sun, Chezza is hosting an Xmas meal for Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Sarah Harding - but they can forget about getting merry as there will be no alcohol following Sarah's recent stint in rehab.

A source told the newspaper:  "Cheryl is going all out. She has already ordered all the food and is determined to cook everything herself.

"She's doing the full works, turkey with all the trimmings, and the lunch table will be laid with crackers and other traditional Christmas decorations.

They continued: "But with Sarah having just left rehab, Cheryl doesn't want to make it into a drunken dinner so isn't planning on having any wine involved. It's just a chance for the girls to catch up with each other before Christmas."

Last week, Harding revealed she was "such a mess" before seeking help for her alcohol problems, insisting that since leaving rehab, she's realised she can "socialise without the booze."
