Security threats behind Cheryl and Ashleys move to a Spanish pad with 24 hour security

Following a string of security fears, its reported that Cheryl Cole and hubby Ashley are about to sign a deal on a high security Spanish property.

The move follows a series of incidents involving Cheryl being stalked by obsessed fans. Just last week a twisted internet blogger was arrested and charged after a year of blogging about kidnapping Girls Aloud and selling their body parts on eBay.

"Cheryls terrified," a friend told Now Magazine, "she just cant afford to take any chances." She added 'All the girls have recognised that the occasional fan getting too close is a hazard of their fame, but Cheryl has a higher profile than the others.'

The couple hope to make the move to the 5 million villa on the Costa del by the time the next series of The X Factor starts, in which Cheryl replaces Sharon Osbourne as one of the judges.
